Paddy established Faircloth Forestry in 2005 after an apprenticeship with a woodland consultancy firm during which he gained his practical NPTC qualifications. He went on to study at Bicton College gaining a National Certificate in Arboriculture; after which he was employed to teach the practical elements of arboriculture at the College.
He continued his professional development whilst running Faircloth Forestry by completing the Certification of Arboriculture accredited by the RFS and the Arboriculture Technician Certificate at Westonbirt Arboretum. He has also undertaken a course at the National School of Forestry at Newton Rigg in Woodland Management, University of Cumbria. He hopes to use his qualifications to become a tree and woodland consultant in the future.
